What Our Law Firm Charges to Take a Case

One of the questions we often get asked is, “How much do you charge per hour?” We’ve all heard stories of people who get a huge bill from their lawyer for their hourly rates and fees. At the Holton Law Firm, we’re trial lawyers. We don’t get paid per hour. We work on what’s called a contingency basis. When you bring a case to us, we work every case as if it’s ultimately going to go to trial. When a case comes in the door, we investigate it; we make sure we know exactly what happened. If necessary, we hire experts to come in and testify and tell the jury what happened. We treat every case as if it’s ultimately going to go to trial. And the way we get paid is if we win your case for you. If we don’t win for you, then we don’t recover. I may have 1,000 hours invested in a case, and if we don’t win, I don’t get a dime. If you or someone you know has been hurt through the fault of someone else, call the trial lawyers at the Holton Law Firm.
